Pediatric Nurse Practitioners

The Wayzata Children’s Clinic has employed Pediatric Nurse Practitioners for over 40 years and was one of the first clinics in Minnesota to adopt the physician/nurse practitioner collaborative style of practice. A Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse whose post-graduate education focuses on clinical expertise in the areas of health promotion, disease prevention, development, and a variety of illnesses. All of our Nurse Practitioners have Master’s degrees, are Nationally Board Certified, and have prescriptive authority through the Board of Nursing.
