Hoffman, M.S.N., R.N., C.F.N.P., grew up in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She then worked as a study coordinator at the University of Iowa and the Hospitals and Clinics there, and as a nursing assistant in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. After two years, Anna moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she completed the accelerated nursing program and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2002. She worked on the Intermediate Care Unit at Howard County General Hospital (affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital), and then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2005. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a pediatric focus. Wanting to return to the Midwest, Anna joined the Wayzata Children's Clinic in 2005, and her clinical interests include well-child and newborn care, and adolescent issues. On her days off, she enjoys running, hiking, biking, reading, and traveling, which has included most of the U.S., Canada, Russia, and Peru. And, being from Illinois, Anna is a White Sox fan and really enjoyed the 2005 season! Anna sees patients in Wayzata. |
